Hi everyone, I hope we all had a good summer and enjoyed the fabulous English weather J. We are well into October, with the winter months fast approaching, the kids back at school, the mornings are getting harder and the nights are drawing in, making it that bit harder to have the enthusiasm to get into the gym, leaving us feeling sluggish and unmotivated. Don’t fear, Focus on Fitness is here! We have jam-packed the next few months, starting with Nick’s launch of his Postural Analysis - please ask any member of team about this;  Andy and Tilly’s super session on Saturday 27th October; and the end of year review on 11th December 7.30pm; as well as a new gliding class. ENJOY!

Have you had your posture analysed?
If your answer is no then you should try a postural analysis session, this 1-2-1 session will encourage postural repositioning and correct body alignment using corrective postural techniques.

I have spent the last few years assessing a variety of different injuries and problems caused by incorrect posture. That can be rectified using postural correction techniques, which have helped to re-educate and strengthen weak muscle groups that were easily fatigued. This helped give my clients a better quality of life. Now it’s time to introduce this service to Focus on Fitness members.

What is it? 
Option 1 two sessions: A 30 minute individual postural analysis looking at posture, limb alignment, muscle tension and length with a 40 point MOT. With a second 30 minute consultation that will review the findings including a personal report showing the results of the analysis.  

Option 2 six sessions: As level 1, but with additional sessions consisting of flexibility, massage and correctional techniques focusing on utilising and strengthening the stabilising muscles that are essential for positive posture.

Option 3 ten sessions: As levels 1 and 2, with additional sessions looking at utilising the stabilising muscles, also looking at strengthening the mobilising muscle groups to help maintain correct muscle function length and ranges of movement. Finishing with a fully re-analysis and report.

Richard Griffiths – It looks like the rower is getting a jolly good workout these days!  Richard is also making personal bests with Tilly’s help!

New members for September
We would like to welcome our new members for the month of September.  They are: David Cheshire, Steven Wilson, Claudia Wilson, Adam Duffin, Amanda Duffin, Toby Read, Malcolm Trobe and Will Allbrook.  We very much hope that we can help you all towards your health and fitness goals.

Get well soon
We wish Vanessa Dunne a speedy recovery following a serious accident.  Vanessa is recovering at home with the help of her family. 
Mike Tunstall who recently had a hip operation is making a speedy recovery and using the club to rehabilitate good work Mike.
