February 2007

I would like to start this month’s newsletter by thanking all members and non-members  who kindly sent a text, card, flowers or indeed any other gift to ‘The Bulzis household’ in celebration of the arrival of Liliana.  We were astounded by the number of cards, presents, flowers - it really was a kind gesture.  As you can imagine, Louise and I are extremely proud parents and of course little Liliana continues to remind us that she will remain the centre of attention for the next number of years; she generally does this through the night!
As a ‘modern man!’  Yes, I was at the birth.  Well, what can I say, but, ‘we’re not worthy’ it was like watching the toughest most grueling marathon on the hottest day of the year and then doing it again and again!  Don’t mean to put you off Gill and Laura (expectant mums).  Louise was fantastic and we’re both delighted.  On the positive side the whole labour experience enabled me to understand actually how much stronger women are.  So, step attendees, my clients, beware, if you’ve had children your training is about to increase!  For the simple reason, I know you can do it.
Finally, a big thank you once again for all your gifts especially to whoever arranged the members’ gifts. Liliana should be taking step in a few years time however, in the meantime should be visiting Malmesbury in the next few weeks; she’s very excited to meet you all!

A word from Ronnie
A big thank you to all for the good wishes at my joining the Focus on Fitness team.  Having been a member for seven years the whole concept of what the club offers helped me in my decision to change career.  My official training qualification begins on March 28th, I think I’m excited about it!  Perhaps a little nervous.  Thanks to the members who have taken part in the calorie-busting programme, you did fantastically well.

General
We thought we should mention the increased attendance, it truly has been a phenomenal month.  The team think it is primarily as a result of Ric’s absence!  No comment.  Yes, we know most people get the bit between their teeth in January, but we felt you all deserved a well done, keep it up.
